Through the Headphones 17

Here’s a song I recently copied to my friend’s mp3 player, which he lent me to use on my long bus ride to and from work during the week. It’s “When You Say Nothing At All” by Ronan Keating, a real romantic song that I love to listen to. Of course, in reality, it’s important and nice to hear once in a while that you’re loved, but actions do speak louder than words too.

Here are some of the lyrics:

It's amazing

How you can speak

Right to my heart

Without saying a word,

You can light up the dark

Try as I mayI could never explain

What I hear when

You don't say a thing

The smile on your face

Lets me know

That you need me

There's a truth

In your eyes

Saying you'll never leave me

The touch of your hand says

You'll catch me

Whenever I fall

You say it best

When you say

Nothing at all

All day long

I can hear people

Talking out loud

But when you hold me near

You drown out the crowd

Try as they may

Could never define

What's been said

Between your

Heart and mine

Unfortunately Ronan Keating abused a good song and ruined it.

That doesn't change the meaning behind the lyrics though. Still love to listen to it.
